Enterprise Architecture Management

What is Enterprise Architecture Management?

Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) is a management discipline that can be used to design business and business relationships. The EAM’s task is to provide tools to master the ever-increasing complexity of the IT landscape as a result of dynamic market change and technology advances. Transparency is the basis of EA and the IT landscape. Through them, it is only possible to design and organize the interaction between the EA and the IT landscape and thus deal with the complexity. In addition, the use of EAM will enable a strategic and business-oriented further development of the IT landscape. EAM seeks to align the performance infrastructure with business goals and business models. At the same time, some overlaps with tasks of corporate development take place. The focus of EAM, however, is more in the technical field.
